History/Folklore: Chamomile has been used since ancient times around the world, including Greece, Rome, Egypt, and South America. In Egypt it was used for Medicine as well as offerings to the Sun God Ra.

The name Chamomile is derived from the Greek word Chamoemelon, which means “Earth Apple”. In spanish it is called Manzanilla, which means “little apple”. This is due to their light apple smell and look.

This herb is also known as the “plant’s phycisian” as it is known to help “heal” other plants around it, and keep away pests.
