History/Folklore: This herb has been believed to have been used since the Mayan Native Americans, and possibly even further back. The Seminole Native American Tribe from Florida was known to eat it and use it for urinary troubles. It is believed that the Seminole Tribe learned the benefits of this plant fro the Mayans, who were known to travel and do trades all the way up to what is now known as the Southern States of the United States.
This herb is known to increase Testosterone. This is what makes it good in raising the libido, and helps fertility issues in both men and women as testosterone helps with sperm production as well as egg production. This also has lead it to being used in assisting in hair growth, as well as stopping baldness in men and women.
